Irish Learning Cities Day 2020
Designated by the Lord Mayor of Cork in 2018, Cork Learning City Day, was a legacy event building on the success of corks hosting of the UNESCO Global Conference on Learning Cities in 2017. Each year on the last week of September the city hosted a series of events throughout the day to celebrate Cork as a place of learning.
This year we are delighted to be joined by Learning Cities from all over the island of Ireland; Belfast, Limerick, Derry and Dublin will all join forces with Cork in collaborative events to celebrate Lifelong Learning across the land.
Irish Learning Cities Day will take place on Wednesday 30th of September 2020.
